 When small size is a critical design concern, we have the world’s smallest plastic check valve, Model #101, as a solution. Designed to be easily inserted into 1/8” Inner Diameter (ID) tubing, this miniature valve can withstand opening pressures ranging from 2 to 20 PSI. We are looking at making it available in lower pressures soon. Model #101 is barbed to eliminate potential leak points. This valve is also unique due to its silicone ball design, which holds the spring in place and controls the flow of liquids and/or gasses.
Model #101 is available in Polypropylene, Nylon, Acetal, PVDF, Polycarbonate, and Ultem® plastic body materials. Both Polycarbonate and Ultem® are Class VI materials, making this valve ideal for the medical industry. It is a great option for flow control in dialysis machines, medical test equipment, and ventricular assist devices. Beyond this market, Model #101 can be used in any industry with applications ranging from heating systems for oil rigs, flight simulation equipment, and ozone generators.
